How can I apply to send my child to a Tim Hortons® Foundation Camp?

To be eligible to enter our summer program youth must be 12 years of age and from a low‑income family living in a Tim Hortons community. We work with youth serving agencies across Canada and the US to identify the youth who would benefit from a Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps experience. Are groups eligible for sponsorships to attend a Tim Hortons® Foundation Camp?

Yes, certain groups may be eligible to attend one of our camps at no charge. Community groups or schools that work with children and youth youth from low-income families may apply for a full sponsorship from the Foundation. To obtain an application package, please contact the specific camp you are interested in.

As a parent, what will it cost me to send my child to camp?

Nothing! The Foundation fully arranges and covers all costs for campers including transportation, accommodations, meals and programming.

Can the Foundation accommodate children with special needs or disabilities?

All our camps are accessible and each camper is evaluated on an individual basis. Please contact our camps directly to discuss your child’s needs.

I want to hold an event to raise funds for the Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps. What should I do?

The Foundation is fortunate to receive financial support from many organizations and individuals that host fundraisers for our benefit.

Interested groups or individuals are asked to fill out our 3rd Party Fundraising Event Proposal Form (PDF). The proposal must be submitted for approval by fax, mail or email prior to the event.

Can I apply for event funding from the Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps?

Unfortunately, as a registered charity the Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps does not contribute to other charitable organizations. All funds raised are used to operate our camps and serve our campers.
